Hi Jacqui,
I just wanted to let you know how happy we are with Shasta and to send a picture or two. She is almost six months old and has been the perfect dog for our family. She is absolutely beautiful and has done extremely well with her training. We all love her unconditionally.
The first picture I sent is of Shasta on her first camping trip. She really enjoys staring into the campfire and of course chasing squirrels. The second picture is of my niece and nephew and their new playmate. I know that Shasta can be spayed at 6 months, but I have been considering breeding her once or twice. Could you please let me know what that process should be? I will, of course, do anything to assure that Shasta’s puppies are as healthy and as beautiful as she is.
Thanks again for your part in making such a difference in our lives.
We absolutely love Shasta!!Marci May

Dear Jacqui -
It’s been just over five months since we brought our beagle puppy Max home from the So. Utah Beagle Barn (or as Max says, the Daisy Hill Puppy Farm). The first few weeks were somewhat trying, and at the same time, an incredibly wonderful time.
Without a doubt, Max has changed our lives for the better. He has added a richness to our lives- he has a very distinctive personality. We recognize the different ways he barks and they all mean something different. When we come home, he greets us with wild, unbridled enthusiasm. When we leave, he cries so mournfully. We couldn’t believe how thoroughly attached to us he became.
At the same time, we are completely attached to our little puppy. We talk about him all the time; play with him all the time, take him for walks everyday.
Max has become a well socialized, friendly, fun-loving dog. He is more than just a pet – he is a very important part of our family.
All our best for a prosperous 2007,
Jason, Sujitra & MAX “Woof”

Jacqui,
This is Scout (3 Months). Isn’t he gorgeous?! I only wish we could afford 2 of him. (He’s got lots of energy). Another dog would wear him out easier than we can.

Anyway we love him, he’s a great dog. I hope you like the picture.

Hi Jacqui,
We wanted to let you know how Romeo is doing and send a couple of pictures as well. Romeo has been part of our family for 2 ½ months, and it seems like he has always been with us! It was the best decision we have made for our family, we love him tons! He has been the best dog since the first day we brought him home. Romeo has been a great pet for our kids, they are the ones that take care of him and play with him but he likes his mom (Angie) best of all. He was such an easy dog to housetrain, we are so grateful for that! He loves playing games with our kids. He has a different game for everyone in the family! He loves to be chased in our backyard by our 18 year old son Matt, they spend hours running up and over all the rocks and dirt! Romeo loves to sleep on Alyssa’s (14 yrs old) bed and go for walks with her. He loves to chase Briana (10 yrs old) around the kitchen table and then up onto a chair and howl at her, they play this constantly! And with Missy (8yrs old) he loves to be chased by her around the table until they are both dizzy! Chris and Angie (aka mom and dad) love playing and cuddling with him, he is such a sweet dog! He follows his mom around the house and knows who to run to if he has had enough of the kids!
Romeo has been a great addition to our family, he is very loved by all of us!
Thanks for sharing your love of beagles with us. We are now beagle lovers too!
Love Romeo’s family,

Hi Jacqui,
Sorry it has taken me so long to send you an update. I have meaning to forever but my camera cord has been missing and I wanted to be able to send you pics. Whisper, who ended up calling Clover, is doing excellent. She has gotten so big so fast! She has so much energy and is so different then the shy, floppy, sleepy little puppy we brought home! She is so much fun. I know she missed her brothers and sisters for a while because she was obsessed with playing with her reflection in the mirror. SO cute! She still does this quite a bit. The first week or so was kinda rough…I guess I misjudged how much work new puppies are. I really have no idea how you do it. But she is sleeping through the night much better and I don’t feel like I have to watch her every second when she is playing in the house. We still don’t have house training mastered but she is getting better and better. Thank you so much Jacqui for what you do! I know you said you were about to have more puppies…Lucy’s? Have they come?
I hope you are doing well.

Jacqui,
I’m sorry that it has taken so long to send pictures of Joey but here are a few. I am so glad that I was fortunate enough to stumble upon your page and find what is now the love of my life. Joey is the most loving, sweetest dog I have ever met. Everyone that meets him loves him and I am so proud to call him mine. He has been so easy to train and even easier to love, thank you so much for taking such great care with your dogs, its hard to find trustworthy breeders these days and I refer everyone to you. Joey and I are doing very well, and I hope to be taking Flowerpot home with me soon!

Hey Jacqui!
First of all, we would like to thank you for all your hard work, dedication, and love that you put towards our little “Sapphire”! We have certainly benefited from it! Sapphire has such a loving, wonderful disposition. A true testimonial to your impeccable breeding. We were so surprised that we didn’t have to get up with her during the night. She sleeps so soundly! She always cuddles with me during her naps and makes the cutest little sounds! She loves our kids, they are so gentle and really love her. What’s there not to love?! Sapphire loves to play fetch with her “panda” toy and she just prances back towards us all proud! She loves to be outside when the weather is warm. Yesterday was a really nice day and she stayed out there with Toby most of the afternoon. We had a little play day with Tiki and Bitsy, who are my friend’s beagles. When they saw her they were just so excited. Bitsy acted a bit motherly and Tiki was her normal hyper self! However, gentle towards Sapphire. They all had a fun time together! Sapphire loves pouncing, and does it quit a bit when she played with the other three dogs. It was so cute to watch! She does not really bark, other than when she gets excited while playing with another dog. Sapphire just loves to play! We are so happy with our new little addition to our family! We feel so blessed! to have her in our lives. By the way, she uses that little pink stuffed dog that you sent us home with for her pillow at night! Belly up some of the time! She must smell her sweet friends from “The Beagle Barn” on it! Thank you again! She is truly a perfect match to our family! Sapphire is doing so good! She is an overall happy, healthy, and loving puppy! My baby!!!!! I love her so much, and I know in the future we will be seeking you out for a 2nd pup! We are just so happy!!! Vet still said that I was sold a healthy pup!! I can not thank you enough for that. I knew that I picked the right breeder!***
Thank you again!Ali and Sabrina Soofi 04/07/08

THEY LOOK SOOOOOO CUTE!!! :-) I am so excited to see when you post the individual pics! I will have to see if another one jumps out to me! Like Sapphire did! That was automatic and I knew that she was mine! I love her so much!!! Thats my baby! I took her over to my friends house last night to play with her buddies ( tiki and bitsy). They went nuts when they all saw each other! We put them all in a kennel that my friend has inside her house so her dogs wont get stolen when she works. Later that night when we went to dinner and they just all cuddled up to each other right away and went to sleep! You know what I noticed yesterday?! Her beagles look different than Sapphire! Of course the color, but I mean their heads are small and they even look smaller. She said they are papered 15 inch beagles. They were bought at the pet store. They are healthy and happy dogs though so thats good! It’s funny cuz my friend and her husband said, “I use to think Bitsy was the prettiest tri color I have ever seen! Now I like your pup’s look so much better!” Guess what?! Sapphire has some BIG paws! Does Skyla? I never saw Ticci or Jericho as puppies, but Sapphire just reminds me of her daddy! What do you think? I’m just curious! I am watching her play outside my window and I think I am going to go play with her for a bit! We have a family reunion up in Midway again today. Well I will let you know when I see the individual pictures. They all just look so cute going at their momma for milk! I know that you love your job!! Whats not to love about each sweet pup?! Then the experience on top of that just tops it off for me! Take care Jacqui! — Sabrina & Ali
Hey!
How are you?! We are good! I have been checking your website for news of the new litter (Lucy & Patrick) . By the way, Ariana LOVED Patrick! He was so nice to her and let her pet away! It’s so hard Jacqui, seeing all these CUTE CUTE pups! I just want to pick the right pup (like I did Sapphire!). I tell myself once I pick one for good I am not going back to the website, cuz I know I will see more I like! I really can see why it’s hard for you to see each one leave. But it’s all a part of being a breeder I suppose. Thank you, Sabrina & Ali Dear Jacqui.Hi how are you, I hope everything is OK in Utah. I finally took great pictures of Bania and Cora that I’ll like to share with you. Bania grew a lot he is a beautiful dog. Tall and slim. We feed him twice a day but he still slim he is 27 pounds . Vet keeps saying we need to make him be 28 or 30 pounds but you know the funny thing is that we give him lots of food and he does not gain any pound, but we still trying, Big difference from Cora as soon as we give her more food she gains weight easy and then we try to make her loose but she looks pretty as well.
Thanks again. Talk to you real soon.

Hi! I just saw the pictures on your website. They are so cute! Little Beagles are the best in the whole world. I’ve never seen the Silver ones. Could you sent me a picture when you get one so I can see how they are? I’m so glad you liked our pictures, I’ll be sending you more pictures soon, Cora is turning 2 years old tomorrow is her B-day we are going to take them to the park and we’ll buy them some hamburgers to celebrate. What do you think about Bania do you have any suggestion for us on how to make him gain couple pounds so he can be 30 or do you think the vet is just crazy and we should keep him how he is now he is 27 pounts and Cora is 27 as well but for some reason Cora looks full and Bania does not . Oh Also I am wondering if you can send me couple picutres of Bania’s mom and dad so I can have it for the photo album I am making I’m finally getting done with my wedding album took me almost 4 years (lol) is not done yet though, but I’m almost at the end so after that I’m going to put together some Cora and Bania pictures. I’ll sent you one more pictures that I though you’ll laugh when you see Bania’s head on the side is funny. I’ll talk to you soon have a good day you and the puppies.
Take care Jacqui.

My three boys made it back safely. Sean was extremely excited, and Blue handled the car ride good. Blue slept most of the way, and Brian said he only wimpered a couple of times. We wanted to let you know how much we appreciate you. He looks so healthy and happy, so you deserve all the credit.
We hope you don’t mind if we keep in contact with you. We would love to send you updated pictures (for sure in the next few days), and of course, we’ll have questions. In fact, here is one. Brian mentioned not to give Blue a bath. When do you think I would be able to do that?
Thanks again for all you have done. You have completed our family.
Talk with you soon.

Jacqui,
Here are some more pics of Blue that were taken tonight. His temperment has completely changed overnight! He is running circles around the livingroom with his favorite bear. He will even bring it to me and play fetch, and he brings it back to me every time. That just floors me. I will be sending more picture to you soon.
Thanks again,

What a blessing it is having Jacqui provide us with the opportunity to bring Lobo into our family! He is so loving, cute and spunky that he creates sunshine wherever he goes. He makes our hearts smile.
He was a few weeks older than the other puppies so we thought he might have a longer than normal adjustment period, but the moment he walked in our front door he jumped right in introducing himself to everyone including our animals as well as our cats.
He gets along really well with my other dog and they enjoy playing ball and taking walks out in the country. In addition to playing hard and enjoying himself he also likes to be cuddled and being loved after a long day of playing.
It’s a joy having him here with us. We all love him.

Hello Jacqui! Here are a couple of pictures of my Beagle babies that I thought you might like. These were taken last night as everyone started to settle down for the night. I love my babies more and more each day. If I had to die and come back as a dog, I would hope that I could be a Beagle. They are so fun, carefree, loving, and friendly and I love to watch them when the pack plays. Hope you have a great day.

Hi Jacqui!December 2008
I got your message the other night and realized I haven’t written forever! I don’t have my camera with me so I don’t have too many pics to send except for our Christmas card shots that happen to be on this computer. Clover is doing very well and we are excited to celebrate her first Christmas in a few days. We just went out and bought her a new bed and two new chew toys. We have had so much fun watching her get bigger (she’s 16 lbs!) and play in the snow.Hope you are enjoying the holiday season with all those puppies. Take Care!

Hi Jacqui,
Sorry it took me so long to send photos of our beagles. They are beautiful and growing up so fast! I am really glad we got two instead of one as they have a blast playing together. They spend hours running out back and all over the house. They are a wonderful addition to our Boulder City family. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job up there is Utah and taking such good care of the beagles. I mention you to anyone that asks (and some that don’t). Hope all is going well for you up there. It’s almost time for them to be fixed. First vet check up went very well and they love the dog park up town. They get to socialize. Teddy (Pace) sleeps with Cody and Ladie sleeps with Matt so they don’t lack for comfort. I understand now why you didn’t want us to pay attention to all the dogs when we went into the fenced area!! But aren’t beagles great! Thanks again!

Dear Jacqui,
We have had Sophia now a week. What a delight!
As we told you, she is such a good traveler, very important to us since we go fishing and on trips quite a lot.
She is fitting in very well at home – learning what is hers and what is not (boots and shoes). She is a very smart, loving dog with a very nice temperament. She will be great around family and friends.
Her new brother, Farley, is getting a lot of exercise. He needs to take some breaks from time to time, so we fill in. They love to run around in the back yard. The snow is no hindrance for Sophia. She seems to really love it and always has a bit stuck to her nose. We are letting them run around in the house, too. Probably not appropriate behavior, but it is fun to watch and it wears them out. Good for all of our nighttime sleeping.
We already love our new little girl. She has filled the void left by the loss of Darla. Although we are all a little tired – she is still very much a puppy – our lives have been so enhanced by her presence.
Thanks for breeding such beautiful, smart, and loving beagles. Anyone wanting a beagle, in particular, or a pup for a family with children, will not go wrong with one of your babies.

Hi Jacqui,
Babs did a wonderful job on the trip to Colorado Springs! We stopped and spent the night in Grand Junction, just because it was raining so hard and traffic was crazy — but I have no doubt she could have made it the whole way in one day! She is such a sweet little thing — she definitely lets you know when she needs food, water, potty stop, or just a cuddle — but she wasn’t timid or scared at all! I know she misses you and all of your wonderful beagles, but we will do our very best to keep her safe and happy. She is part of the family now. Our beagles love her and she has already barked at my cats (the cats barely woke up; they’ve lived with dogs all their life), so she is settling in well. Thank you so much for the work you do — she is an amazing little girl and we will be sure to keep you updated with pictures so you can watch her grow into a big girl with us. I remember you asked if we would send you a testimonial for your web page; it would be an absolute honor and Jim said he wants to write it — I’ll nag him if he forgets! Thank you again for everything — we love her so much and will do our best to give her a lifetime of love and cuddles — best wishes,
Deb and Jim Hatzel 7/11/10
Hi Jacqui,
So sorry it took so long to get you these pics, as you can imagine it’s been a crazy (but great) few days since we got back.
Here are some of the pics of our girl (the last one is how thrilled Mikey is J). She is so sweet and SMART! Potty training going pretty well. Once Steve and I figured out what the whole paper training was all about she did great. She is mostly sleeping through the night in her kennel (which she love most of the time, except when she wants to be loved) only waking up once or twice through the night. She is eating great and almost like clockwork goes potty after she eats. We are so thrilled to have her and want to thank you for all you do. You are an excellent breeder and I actually recommended you to an officer in the reserves that we ran into at the gas station on the way back from your house. I was holding Grace and he asked me about her. I told him about you and he said he lives in a nearby town ( I am forgetting the name right now). He said his daughter has been wanting a dog and he loves beagles!
I will keep you updated on our growth and send pics along the way.

I just saw on your web site that you have new babies on the way! Congrats! The girls are adorable but I think I got the pick of the litter. Baby Grace is doing so well and way too smart. Steve and I are actually talking about a new baby next year, we are having so much fun. Mikey really adjusted well and they play all the time. She is perfectly kennel trained as well.Hope you are well. More pictures to come.

Jacqui,
Had some internet service issues when we got home yesterday. Here is
a pic of Sebastian in his new home. Thanks again for everything. He is
sweet and so well-mannered. He had his first run in with our cat and
ran down the stairs yelping. This morning they got on well together.

My Husband & I heard about Jacqui & her Beagles through the AKC website. We had researched the breed and her site gave us even more information. It was very important to us that our puppy have a healthy background & to know how the parents were doing to date. We had a Lab Jackson for two and a half years, our baby and sadly he passed on when we were not expecting it. We had to really consider if we were ready to open our hearts to another little pup again.
Months after our dog had passed we decided to look into the Beagle breed since I had a Beagle named Lucky when I was a child & she was the sweetest thing. We really were drawn to Jacqui’s site. Her dogs are her family & she really shows that in her work. My husband & I originally bought Charlie from the May 5th litter. We couldn’t wait for every weekly update. Just before our trip to Utah to pick Charlie up, my husband begged for another puppy we then named Waylon. So that weekend we came home with two puppies, Brothers.
They are now 16 weeks old & are doing great! They are a handful but they also can keep each other busy. Charlie & Waylon have been just a blessing for my husband & I. We truely love them & are so happy to watch them thrive. They love to play in our backyard & for some reason leaves fascinate them. They use the living room as a race track/wrestling ring. They are also big cuddle bugs. Jacqui has made us apart of her family & vice verse. Its nice to keep in touch with her & to ask simple questions as they arise. I’ve included Charlie & Waylon’s tiny puppy pictures & an update picture. Thank you Jacqui for giving us our boys! Best wishes

Hi Jacqui!
They are having a great time together. We absolutely adore her. Toby is getting his butt whooped by her; its great! She is such a cuddle bug, and Patrick and I love it! Jacqui,
We are writing to tell you how well things are going here with the puppy and our other Beagle, Sullivan. They are getting along great and are so good for each other. He has already lost 4 pounds since Kira came home with us! She is getting bigger and is adapting to our family and our routine. We love her so much and are so glad that we got her. I am sending some pictures of the dogs to you so that you can see how cute she is. I’ll take some more of her as she gets a little older.
Take care,

Dear Jackie,
I’m so sorry that I did not send you a picture of Chester for a long time because of school and I have Dance and Soccer. I just kept forgetting about it, and it’s really hard because I have home work and my family’s computer is really slow. I hope you are happy to see Chester again, and he is all grown up.
What he really likes to do is play fetch and and run in the grass we have in are front yard. And my computer is so slow, that we did not get a picture of me holding him. But now I’m going to keep telling my mom to get a picture of him and download it on the computer. He is finally potty trained and it took about 3 months! He is one of the cuties puppies and now he is 6 months old so know we have to give him his rabbie shots from the doctor.
Love, Tiara
P.S I love him so much!!! 12-14-10

Hi Jacqui,
We hope you had a Merry Christmas. We love Chester so much. Now that he is potty trained, we let him sleep outside of his kennel at night. His favorite place is on Tiara’s bed or right in the middle of Brant and I. Tiara says everyday, “I just love him so much! He is soooo cute!” . He loves to play and his latest funny thing is barking at this ugly Christmas camel that we have. It stands about 16 inches highs. We had it next to the Christmas tree and he will put his butt in the air with his front paws on the ground and paw at the camel while he barks. Then he runs around the furniture and comes back and does the same thing. We laugh so hard. We had to put the camel on the top shelf because he wouldn’t leave it alone. He got to go feed the cows with my Dad in Beaver last week. He wanted to “play” with the cows until the first one snorted at him. Then he ran and hid behind the hay stack. He loves to chew on everything and the funniest thing is finding all of chew bones buried in the laundry baskets and bedding. Every chew bone is hidden. We are so glad we have him and we love his temperment. He is so friendly and loving. We all love to snuggle with him. We will try to send some more pictures soon.
Sincerely,
Brant, Sharon, Tiara, Dyllen, Derek, and Tasha 12/28/10

Hi Jacqui,
Hope you had a nice Christmas! Just wanted to fill you in about how Ollie a.k.a. Webster is adjusting to his new home and new family. He is doing really well! He cried the first two days and a little on the drive home from your place, but he slept mostly. He is now confident around our house, and beginning to explore more and get into puppy trouble! Haha. His new “no no puppy behavior” is attempting to eat some of the little rocks in our backyard. So we are keeping a close eye on him when he is out back. He is almost house broken. He rarely has accidents around the house now, but we are taking him out a lot and keeping him in our sight while he is roaming around our house.
He LOVES to already go on walks and to the park. He is getting much better at walking and not stopping to scratch his collar every five seconds (he is not a fan of the collar/or the little harness, but he prefers the collar over the harness). Everyone that sees him when we are out on our walks or playing in the park has to come up to him and pet him. He does wonderful with meeting new people and other dogs. He is so scared of dogs that bark on our walk. Most of the time we can’t even see the other dogs, because usually they are behind someone’s backyard fence or something. However, last night after dinner we took Ollie for a little stroll in our neighborhood and a dog barked as we walked by it’s house, and Ollie literally ran faster than I’ve ever seen him run all the way until he got back into our driveway, while pulling me on the leash! Haha it was so funny, poor little Oliver!
He is sleeping GREAT throughout the night, and waking us up around 5:15 am every morning. He sleeps in his kennel every night and he LOVES it! He cried the first two days he had to sleep in it, but now he goes right in and lays down and usually won’t make a peep until the morning.
We love him so much already! He has grown so much too! I am sure you know, since you still have all his sisters around! He weighs 6.8 lbs, as of yesterday.
Thank you again for bringing us so much joy and love this Christmas and for many many years to come! He is perfect and we can’t imagine a day without him now!
Enjoy the pictures!
Hope all is well! How are the other pups doing? Have you sold anymore? Did Micky get shipped off OK?
Ollie say hi and sends licks and hugs to you and his sisters and of course to Gibson and Spade too!
